Valentine’s Day, Videos, and the Next Leg of the Tour

By Dr. Will Tuttle

We all know that Valentine’s Day celebrates the noble impulse to love each other, and there is no higher love than caring, especially caring about those who are vulnerable to unnecessary harm and suffering.

Madeleine and I join in thanking you for celebrating Valentine’s Day every day by caring for others and fulfilling the opportunity that we have to reject entrenched cultural violence and adopt a vegan lifestyle based on kindness and respect for animals, ecosystems, future generations, other humans, and each other.

To commemorate Valentine’s Day for all living beings, we have just released two short 5-minute videos addressing the dubious claims that vegan foods are harmful. The first video addresses environmental concerns, and the second video addresses health concerns.

We will soon be leaving Hippocrates Wellness Institute here in southeast Florida, where we have been delivering weekly lectures promoting deep veganism and concerts of piano and flute music, since Christmas. On Friday we embark on the next leg of our Food for Freedom Tour. This will bring us to quite a few cities in the great state of Florida.

Our tour schedule has the details and is being continually updated. As you can see, we will be speaking on Friday in Miami and this weekend in Key West, followed by presentations next weekend in Fort Myers, and a special Plants-2-Table event in Naples. Following that, we will be delivering presentations in central and northern Florida, and then, in mid-March, heading west and offering events in Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and southern California.

If you or any friends are in these areas, please join us! We are deeply grateful to the many advocates and caring people who are helping to arrange all these events and also to those attending.

Finally, our new book, Food for Freedom, is being designed and finalized, and we will keep you posted on the release date coming soon.

We look forward to seeing you and continuing to work together to reveal the deep structure of our culture, and the many ways we can bring healing to ourselves, animals, and our world.
